Maybe, still interesting that the patched version turned 25% worse and thereby this is the only test we've seen so far that did so!

Even including this test (and we've received 11 numbers so far), the patched version *average* at 51% of the time of the vanilla build.

Jan Ehrhardt's XP test was really slow and if we exclude that from the results, the average patched result goes down to 46%.

Remarkable improvements!

The 11 tests seen so far has been done with these Windows versions:

It would still help with more data - especially if you happen to run other versions or happen to sit on networks far away from the uploadjp.openspeedtest.com server.
