The original author felt confident that the port will work with a future
releases of wxPython, thus he put 2.4+ in the port.
If he would not be sure, he would put 2.4-2.6 in there straight away.
When we add a new gcc version, we don't check all ports if they work.
We assume everything will work, and fix or mark the cases where there's
a problem. Why we should treat wxPython any different?
