Well, I did built ghc from CVS, although it contains a
lot of errors on my machine(like missing IO  and
stuff, but you are probably busy with that), but I
can't built the docs, because I don't have DocBook
CATALOG:

checking for openjade... /usr/local/bin/openjade
checking for DocBook CATALOG... no
Warning: You will not be able to build the
documentation.

I read chapter 9 of the building docs, and
installed(with install defined as: "just put the files
in place as in the docs") everything that was in the
docbook paragraph. 

So what am I doing wrong?

I think the docs are old:
"For example, in build.mk you might have a line:

SGMLDocWays = html ps"

Well, I did find -name build.mk in fptools and I
searched for it, but the variable/flag wasn't there.

And another thing the WebCVS access is down now for a
long time. Does this have any reason?

And yet another thing: will the fptools be Cabalized
any time (soon)?
