The CVS sources currently build, and have only a few minor bugs.  You
shouldn't be encountering any significant problems.

What platform?  Do you have a DocBook toolchain installed?

build.mk is created by you (there's a sample in
fptools/mk/build.mk.sample).

The machine hosting it was re-installed after a breakin, and the
maintainer hasn't set up the web interface to CVS again yet.  I think
he's quite busy.

Some of the packages in fptools/libraries could be cabalised.  In fact,
that would be a fine project for someone looking for something to do...
