It looks like -Dfoo_HOST_OS=1 only started being passed in 6.4, and
that's a build using 6.2.2. I'm impressed it ever managed to build like
that!
non-{Linux,Windows} was broken by the patch as I forgot to add an
import, as noted elsewhere in this thread, though. And ironically, the
purpose of the change was to reduce the number of ifdef's to make
arch-specific failures less likely.
