To be precise, this is what I'm getting from validate on x86 linux with current HEAD, in case it matters. I think if no one offers an opinion to the contrary, I'll feel okay to commit if validate isn't broken any worse than HEAD, unless my patches are in the same area as some of the breakage or unless the compiler is completely broken (in which case a patch might make things worse without changing the failures).
