+
Some German journalists seem to be very
creative when it comes to new releases. One site announced the availability of
2.4 already, whereas we only have a release candidate yet (read the word:
candidate!) and target releasing at the beginning of March. Some other sites
are even more creative: One site announced we'll be releasing 2.4.2 shortly,
another site mentioned a release 4.3 (sic!). Sorry for the hard words, guys,
but if you are not able to follow our release cycle, please ask. We're
communicating new releases all the time, and your inventions don't help anyone.
We receive numerous requests asking about new versions that aren't even planned
yet, and you only prove that your news aren't investigated very well.

So, for clarification, especially for those creative minded
journalists out there: The next release will be 2.4, estimatedly at
the beginning of March. We currently don't plan a release 2.4.1,
but that isn't for sure as of now. A 2.4.2 is definitely not planned, as 3.0
will be released in fall. And a 4.x release is still a long way to
go...

+
Some German journalists seem to be very creative when it
comes to new releases. One site announced the availability of 2.4 already,
whereas we only have a release candidate yet (read the word: candidate!) and
target releasing at the beginning of March. Some other sites are even more
creative: One site announced we'll be releasing 2.4.2 shortly, another site
mentioned a release 4.3 (sic!). Sorry for the hard words, guys, but if you are
not able to follow our release cycle, please ask. We're communicating new
releases all the time, and your inventions don't help anyone. We receive
numerous requests asking about new versions that aren't even planned yet, and
you only prove that your news aren't investigated very well.

So, for clarification, especially for those creative minded journalists
out there: The next release will be 2.4, estimatedly at the
beginning of March. We currently don't plan a release 2.4.1, but
that isn't for sure as of now. A 2.4.2 is definitely not planned, as 3.0 will
be released in fall. And a 4.x release is still a long way to
go...
