Hi,
I have recently installed cvsnt 1.11.1.2 on an NT-machine with SP 4 of a
corporate network.
I am using a wincvs 1.2 client (on the same machine) and have configured
CVSROOT like:
':pserver:myuser@mymachine:c:/mycvsroot'
now when I try to login I get : the message:

CVSROOT: ::pserver:myuser@mymachine:c:/mycvsroot (password authentication)

TCL is *not* available, shell is disabled

NEW CVSROOT: :pserver:myuser@mymachine:c:/mycvsroot (password
authentication)

cvs login

(Logging in to [EMAIL PROTECTED])

cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from 10.0.0.0: Unknown
command: `Internet'

Now I have read that on NT SP6 is required. But the fix is, it is rather
cumbersome to convince the system administrator of the company to install
SP6. Is there a way to get around this or even better, do I simply get this
error for some stupid mistake I have done when setting up the whole thing.

Many thanks for any answer in advance.

Tim
