and I got this message this morning. "Knoppix Hacks" sounds like a
really cool book:

Anyone got it yet? Thoughts?

i ordered it. should be in soon.

can't wait!

Mine came today. Ooooo. Ahhhhh. Ohhhhh. Wery, wery, nice. There's a few hacks on how to fix Windows systems, like changing the admin password (#75). The rest is all Linux stuff, including making your own TiVo (#92), making a kiosk (#24), remastering your own Knoppix (#94), and even a installing Gentoo with Knoppix (#36). Perhaps a nifty topic for Monday, if time permits.

For you science types (e.g. chemists, physicists, mathematicians, biologist, etc.) there's a LiveDVD called Quantian that hack #90 covers in some detail.

Enjoy. I sure will.
