Lee, At the MOSLUG meeting this week. I brought an IOMEGA Zip 100 USB to trouble shoot on my desktop. AMD K6 II with 450 Mhz processor 256 mem.
The flavor of Linux is Fedora Core II. The Zip 100 did not have hardware issues. It worked fine on W2K. And I have just discovered that Xandros 2.0 also recognized the Zip 100. Since I am dual booting. Fedora Core II sees that it's a Zip 100 however there is no support for it. Both Arlo and Will worked on trying to make the Zip 100 work on FC II but determinded that some code would have to be written to make the Zip 100 work. Just a note, Fedora Core II does recognize my USB Zip 250. Later On Fri, 4 Feb 2005 10:48:29 -0600 (CST), L. V.
