Notebooks are a different beast from desktop systems. Hidden screw? Probably. And really small. And not your standard slotted or Phillips head. The cover could also be held by the screws/nuts at the video and serial ports, the ones that the cables screw in to.
Your best bet is to google for the technical docs that show how the thing is put together. Beyond that, good luck.
