Someone metioned on /. that this doesn't really change anything for apple unless they put a heavy emphasis on WINE. It would be a VERY good idea for Apple to heavily contribute to wine development or Cedega or Codeweavers. It depends on which angle they want to play. If they want to increase the number of GAmes for the MAC platform--a problem for many people who wont consider macs because of the lack of games--they would probably look at Cedega (used to be wineX). CodeWeavers Xover office seems to be more of a gui wrapper around wine and the removal of debug information to make it run a little nicer. Not very game friendly in my experience. I have run most other apps that work under both wine and Xover but I haven't played with it lately. - -- JT Morée PC Xperience, Inc. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCqDhAXEayxvjyJdwRAqf7AKC3xfZIZBABePL5N9e6/lQMR+pg4gCfeje5 D+0KxI8QNrD3ad6iti3IcaY= =fhIt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
