 I will pursue incorporating Awk into shell scripts then. Can you post
any web sites that have additional examples?

I am sorry to hear that. I was also saddened that J.T. Moree and
PC-Xperience could not stay in bussines. I think the lack of UNIX
employment opportunities is partly regional. Here in Colorado there
seems to be a demand for people with UNIX skills.
