Yes, but requires that I enter a root password. So, I have two choices:
1) modify the menu item to use sudo
2) create a root password

I did #1 by un-checking the "run as different user" and by adding "sudo" to the front of the command line so the beginning looked like so:

  sudo ksysv -caption ...

I then selected Linux as the OS and Debian as the distro version, after which ksysv started.

Dang! That program needs some help. For example, resizing the window didn't resize the widgets in the window.

CUPS is absolutely necessary. It should be runnning by itself. Weird.

Nope. Not running. Selected 'cupsys' for the service, then the 'Service' tab, and then the 'Start' button. Which started the service. However, I don't see where I can tell 'cupsys' to start at runlevels 2,3,4,5 and stop on runlevels 0,1,6.

BTW, this is using 4.0CD. I'll try the same with 3.8.2 and 3.9.
