Hi.

Keep in mind that the overheating may have already damaged some
parts, so, potentially, no amount of cooling may solve the lockups.

Also, CPU temperature is not the only measure you should be looking
at. It is perfectly possible for the hard drive, graphics card, or
motherboard components to lock up. Also, what the BIOS reports as the
temp may not be completely accurate, even misleading.

You have a fan blowing on them? That will only disperse a minimal
amount of heat from the surface of the computer. Did you build these
computers yourself? You probably need a higher-powered fan or more
fans inside the box and make sure the box is sealed up reasonably
tightly. The inside of the box should effectively become one or more
wind tunnels.

What you need to do now is isolate the failing component. If you have
extra components laying around, swap out one piece of hardware at a
time (start with the graphics card) with something known to be
functioning. A electronics thermometer can be cheaply bought at Radio
Shack- such as a sensor which attaches to a multimeter. Put the
sensor in a place where it isn't being directly blown on by a fan.
Make sure you can clearly identify intake and blow-out areas of the
computer and remove any obstructions to them.

Good luck!
