I sure did post it for that reason, but just saying "it doesn't conform to the unix way of doing things & there is nothing special about it" doesn't *enhance* discussion. it shuts it down. do you not see that? right now, i just did this: dog --links http://members.home.nl/visionx/ > download that generates a list of links that i can then run through wget. now, with dog i found that really easy. how would you do that as easily? i'd love to know. scott -- R.
