That is what I found out as well. You have stated the differences very succinctly here. I'll give this one a try. But since I am using imapd from UWash, do you think I should go with MAILDIR or mbx? I might later replace UW with Cyrus, Courier or whatever. Mainly, I am looking for a grand performance boost. Thanks.
