you get what you pay for. 

my netgear g card works beautifully with k/ubuntu 5.10. however, i don't know 
the model #, since it's plugged in. robert, do you remember what it was when 
i told you on saturday?

it cost ~$50, btw. if you want something that works well and works with linux, 
you are DEFINITELY looking at more than $7. $50 is about right.
