How can I do a simple reformatting of a webpage?

Many sites format their text to be only so wide. For example, when I
view the Post-Dispatch[1] I have four columns of text all scrunched
into the left half of the viewing area in Firefox. Increasing the
font makes the font bigger, but the text columns stay the same size.

I seem to remember that there's a Firefox extension[2] that allows
you to reformat a page. What am I looking for? Greasemonkey?
Platypus? something else?

Thanks in advance.
