A friend of mine from CCSL bought a condo on Pershing, .. unfortunately,
her condo comes with cable but Charter <is that the company?> cannot figure
out how to get hers working (they keep sending techs that don't have a clue
how to get the cable into her condo 'hot'; they say the signal is good
outside the building but nada at her drop).
Can anyone recommend an alternative? Is ATT/SBC service usable in the area?
Speakeasy? Any WiFi nearby? Does anyone know one of the cable 'engineers'
in the area (the level above the service contractors that can actually fix
problems)? I suggested she check out Cingular for a 3G card - does any use
it there (i.e. is the reception good)?
