I had visited the kubuntu link yesterday and noticed two things: 1) the direct link was down so only the .torrent was up, which is fine by me 2) the download was 1 GB IMHO, a 1 GB download is a bit much, a bit too much for easy distribution. Something less than a CD's worth is what I feel is ideal. That's why I was wondering about expanding the filesystem: have a minimal image that can fit on a CD, but when put on a HDD, can be expanded. > or, at our next meeting, i can make images of any ol' linux we'd > like that you > guys can play in vmware player, since i'll have vmware workstation. > anyone > interested in trying that out? I am. Actually, I'm most curious to find out what the limits are on the reader and the workstation. Regards, - Robert http://www.cwelug.org/downloads Help others get OpenSource software.
