Unfortunately, that's all the information I could find.  I'm  
particularly interested in the "setting up automated deployments",  
but a google search yielded only the ftp sites[1].  Anyone have more  
information on how to set up automated deployments?

Fair enough.  The question now is, how.  Docs seems to be either  
sparse or well-hidden.
