Probably. But it would be really nice if there was an on-line store
(or a brick and mortal with an on-line presence) that sold hardware
known to work with Linux, rather than having to guess. Something
like a Linux section on the Amazon.com store. Or perhaps something
closer to what I mean is something like the Apple Store. Everything
you get there you know will work with a Mac, even if it's not made by
Apple.

A quick google brought up the Gentoo Store, which is the right idea,
but the wrong products[1]. In addition to CDs, shirts, and swag,
it'd be nice to get hardware for creating a Gentoo linux system:
mobos, RAM, modems, NICs, wifi, pc cards, scsi, etc.

I know that KSPEI sells hardware at the ComputerRoom[2], but I feel
bad e-mailing them every time with lots of really basic questions.

Another google found one on-line store[3] but they appear to be
wholesalers, not retailers. I'll keep looking. But if anyone knows
of a store or can recommend one, please do post.
