Try http://www.agata.org.br/us/ for English versions of both windows and
Linux versions.

We have been running the Agata Windows client to access MySQL databases
rather successfully for several years and it seems to work fine. I expect
we are not on the current version, however (will have to check when I get in
the office).

OOo's database is somewhat less than desirable. For example, while I
can "connect" to an Access database and I can view all of the data in a
table, I cannot query it. That is, I have not been able to run a simple
SELECT query, whether I create it using the Wizard, the design view, or
the SQL view. Maybe I'm overlooking something, but when I click on
Finish, I expect the Wizard to save the query. Instead, pressing Finish
does nothing.

Interesting. Worth a look. Thanks, Stan.
