Want to thank you guys for the help in getting this Linksys usb wireless adapter to work. I'm sending this email using the adapter. I couldn't get the adapter to work using the prism2_usb driver Mepis 6 kept loading and I fired it with #modprobe -r prism2_usb. The windows driver was downloaded from the internet and the lswlusb windows driver loaded to ndiswrapper again like I thought I had done before. But, this time it worked. However, I still get error messages in dmesg and in the scan and essid requests. But, it pings and connects. I suppose the Prism2_usb driver will again load tomorrow. I'll see if it still works at the Hazwelwood meeting tomorrow. Merry Christmas.
