Sure.  But which setting?  Maybe you've had better luck than I.  But
every time I try to hand edit xorg.conf (or the xfree86 eqivalent), I
end up with a borked X11.  The manual is just a hair shy of worthless.

What would be cool is an "Xorg phrasebook" or a "Hacking Xorg" book.
