Interesting. I was going to search the bug reports in a bit. > What make and model of machine did this occur on > for you? On a self-built box (i7, 12 GB RAM, 1 GB HDD), a T61 ThinkPad, and in a VirtualBox VM. In all three cases, it "froze". The only thing that worked was to type or send Ctrl+Alt+Delete. > BTW, has anyone actually seen Theresa or is she some > imagery e-mail figment? ;-) Quite real. She is the force behind the workshop area at ByteWorks (and she grills up some excellent veggies, too, for the food get-togethers -- my mouth is watering just thinking about them.) If you want to meet her in person, drop by ByteWorks some Saturday (except this Saturday) between 10am and 1pm. BTW, if you or anyone else wants to help out, ByteWorks could definitely use the extra hands, from triaging incoming equipment, to testing parts, to cloning drives, all the way to assembling and testing the machines before they are awarded to the kids. Even if tech stuff isn't your thing (gasp!), there are plenty of other opportunities to help out, including PR, recruitment, and grant writing. ByteWorks can always use the help. If you want to get a flavor for what it's like, feel free to drop by the shop any Saturday (except this one). There's even an on-line presence for the shop at Yahoo: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/bworks_shop/ There's also one on Facebook, but I don't understand Facebook to post the link.
