The author set things up beautifully, describing the faults of Ogg in great detail. He had me sold. I was expecting the pitch. I could even hear it in my head ... "But fear not. With the new wizbang container format all those issues are a thing of the past." Instead, he left me hanging. What a disappointment.
There's gotta be a name for this kind of writing: complaining without offering a solution. Most political pundits and radio talk show hosts have mastered this style to an art. It's like complaining about the weather. All you can say is "yup, ain't it terrible?" and move on.
