The post includes a lkml link where the numbers are given: http://lkml.org/lkml/2010/11/16/392 It all appears to be about wakeups and latency. Linus likes it. Fewt also likes it. It is so hot that it is already being incorporated into distros and remixes (such as Sabyon and Fuduntu.) If it appears to begin to cause problems after it is applied.
