Thanks for the kind words.  But the script is far from perfect.
Consider it a rough draft.  It worked for me, but it doesn't do a lot
of things, e.g. error checking.

Please do, with the caveat that the code is GPL Free Software and
there is no warranty, expressed or implied, yada, yada, yada.

My "contention" is not that there isn't a benefit (there probably is),
but rather that I don't understand the benefit.  For example, when I
type a character in a terminal or click a link on a web page, I see
the that action almost immediately.  Does "more responsive" mean that
those actions will now happen even faster?  If so, then that is not a
big benefit to me.  Or does "more responsive" mean my programs will
run faster or web pages will render faster?  If so, then it is a huge
benefit to me.

Since having the cgroup scripts in place for almost 2 days, I honestly
can't tell the difference with or without them.
