Rob, we've had the Washington, MO-based YHTI (http://www.yhti.net) for the past five years and have been quite happy with them, and yes, they do serve the greater St. Louis metropolitan area (we live in Ballwin). Their price for 1.5 Mbps download DSL is quite reasonable too, at $28.95/month. Should you sign up with them, please tell 'em Fred sent ya and we'll get $20 off our next bill (and you can too if you refer a friend -- details are at http://www.yhti.net/yhti-free.php). While their tech support doesn't officially support Linux, it's always worked just fine for me, and I'm running CrunchBang Statler Xfce edition. :-)

I pay $14.99 for low speed dsl from ATT. However att is a pain with lousy accounting services. I have to write to the attorney general to get them to fix their bill screwups. Tony

have any recommendations for companies which give as good or
better quality DSL service as AT&T at a lower price?
