Ok, I reread the forecast, and it says that the warmer air temperatures allow rain, but ground temperatures remain cold, so the rain will freeze when it hits surfaces. Not good driving weather. In my home town, after they had deadly cold weather last week, (around 30F), temperatures returned to normal (high in upper 60s, low upper 40s). The idea of rain falling on colder ground is still new to me.
