I have an actual challenge everyone might be interested in, which is actually Linux related and appropriate for the venue. Questions about configuring Apache (or other) web server in Synology. There's pretty much no documentation specific to that vendor anywhere I have found, and what I have found seems not to work. What I want to do is configure the server to allow a web browser to see a file listing, so the user can open a file and view it with the client's builtin audio or video player. I've set Apache to do this on my Mac Pro 1,1 (MacOS 10.5.8), but I haven't succeeded in duplicating the results on the Synology with similar settings. I hope there's a detail I'm missing that we can snoop out and correct.
