Did you by any chance modify your 2.0.4 lib directory to include the spring aop stuff (and cglib)? If so, you will need to do the same for 2.0.5. If I replace the 2.0.5 spring jars with the everything spring jar and add cglib-nodeps, then your sample works fine with 2.0.5 and 2.0.4. Thus, my gut feeling says your 2.0.4 lib dir has those, but that's not something we included by default.
