ROYAL NAVY is a 1980's era hex wargame covering surface combat during WW1-2. It was designed by Jack Greene who also designed DESTROYER CAPTAIN, IRON BOTTOM SOUND, NORWAY 1940 and I think also TO THE FAR SEAS (Russo Japanese war.) It's a far, far cry from SK5, but there is nonetheless a lot to love. Ross Menzies has contributed a ROYAL NAVY gamebox that incorporates scenarios from all of Greene's games which makes a very nice little naval primer.
