I see one on sale on Ebay... I will get a copy tks!

I am not sure if you can help but I posted this on a minature wargaming website
trying to find a book I had lost years ago....... (sorry of this is off topic)

Ok not sure if this is the best place to post but I had a book that I lost some
years ago and have from time to time tried to recall the author and title. It
was a book on Naval Wargaming. I think it was from the late 70's to early 80's
and as I recall a hardback and it was blue. It was a book on naval minature
wargaming. The first few chapters on the book dealt with of course naval
wargaming and covered WWI and WWII. It also had how to create maps, build
ships, and basic information on Naval Wargaming. About in the middle of the
book was a section on a suggested set of rules for wargaming. I recall one the
author mentioning that the Japanese subs were stronger and more powerful so one
of the rules when dropping depth charges it was harder to hit. IT covered also
an optional section covering aircraft, how to search for subs, etc. It also had
pictures of people who had created the ships including ports, etc. It
referenced Jane's Fighting Ships of course but I dont think it was a reprint of
Fletcher's Pratt rules.

Any ideas? I am sorry for such vaque information but would love to find the
author and title as I can not remember but would like to know this for
sentimental reasons.

  Subject: [CBML] Royal Navy

ROYAL NAVY is a 1980's era hex wargame covering surface combat during WW1-2.
It was designed by Jack Greene who also designed DESTROYER CAPTAIN, IRON BOTTOM
SOUND, NORWAY 1940 and I think also TO THE FAR SEAS (Russo Japanese war.) It's
a far, far cry from SK5, but there is nonetheless a lot to love. Ross Menzies
has contributed a ROYAL NAVY gamebox that incorporates scenarios from all of
Greene's games which makes a very nice little naval primer.
