Surely the replies are the new text, and the rest is the original message 
to which the poster is replying. All I ask is that we learn to remove what 
is not relevant.

Whilst I agree that leaving in some of the original messge is relevant, 
it's much easier for all to read if it's done properly (like I'm trying to
