Arent' we all...

I use the built-in filtering in PC-cillin (my antivirus software).
It's far from perfect, and you need to manually enter the sites you wish to 
block (there must be millions out there), but I managed to almost eliminate 
it here by entering just one site which most people were using as a portal 
to the others. That site is worldsex.com .

I've seen proxy servers available, It's basically a box which you plug into 
your network and all the internet traffic goes through it.

Take a look at http://www.n2h2.com for an example of this.

It's not a URL, it's the ip address of the proxy which goes there.

There are other options, netnanny etc.

Ironically, the best way to find these is to visit the more respectably porn 
sites (?), some of which have links to filtering software.
