Because of mobility? A bull can move faster than a flatfoot.

Same as they do now, shoot it in the brain with a high velocity rifle.
Some police use 243s (very successfully). But I know of one instance
where a shot aimed directly at the forehead failed to do much to the
beast. That officer now uses a 308 Win with 180 grain bullets. I have
*never* come across any planned shooting of a bull with anything less
than a 243.
