that he did not, there not being enough evidence to

I have numerous letters from the Home Office, I think
about 10 in all, all of them going around the houses
but never admitting that there was any evidence
of Hashimoto's disease. Eventually I tracked down
and wrote to the pathologist who performed the
autopsy. He confirmed that a thyroid abnormality was
found during the autopsy but the consensus of medical
opinion, from some noted endocrinologists, was that
it was irrelevant. I also have information from other
sources that Hashimoto's can cause violent and psychotic
behaviour in sufferers but these guys didn't witness the
autopsy. He did have Hashimoto's disease but I have my
doubts as to its relevance.
However, it should have only taken one letter to find
this out, instead it took a protracted correpondence
over 12 months. Some of that correspondence was
particularly crass, for instance 3 times they quoted
the same passage from the Cullen report, particularly
galling since I included it in my first letter. Its
no wonder that conspiracy theories reign given the
mendacious and evasive responses I obtained from the HO.
