Well I queued for over an hour this afternoon to fill up and
Tesco's had staff all over the car park managing the traffic
jam.
Most stations round here (Liverpool by the end of the M62)
have now run out of unleaded.
The interesting point is that large numbers of those who
couldn't be bothered to join in Dump the Pump are now going
to be sufficiently hacked off that they will be writing and
phoning not just MP's but all the phone in shows and letters
pages.
A good example of direct action by a few snowballing into a
much larger protest.

I was quite intrigued by John Reid MP on Sky News, saying
the Govt. had a "contingency plan". "We have a contingency
plan for everything" he said. Hmm, really.
