Have just received my FAC RENEWAL NOTICE CONCURRENT
WITH SHOTGUN.
Anyone got any advice,
any hidden pitfalls I should be aware of ?

The main bits of advice so far appear to be:
(a) get it in as soon as possible and include a letter asking
for a Section 7 permit in case of any delay;
(b) be sure your references give at least a sentence on
the referee forms rather than single word answers;
(c) might be worth letting your GP know what is required of
him (i.e. the police can ask only for factual information
and they're only supposed to ask in case of doubt about
your health).
