What did all those athletes who competed under the Olympic flag, when all
the boycott nonsense was in full swing, do about "quotas" then?
I appreciate Mick Gault not taking part if he didn't feel he'd had
sufficient training (or money to get there of course), but think what an
impact there might have been if he'd won gold shooting under the Olympic
flag in protest.
Then again, our miserable media would probably have ignored it.

But the Pentathletes did win in a pistol event, and they
got less coverage than Ian Peel, which is saying something!
