What a wonderful idea.....
Now all we have to do is issue every recruit with about
three rows of medal ribbons, a marksman's badge and at
least a corporal's stripes.
After all, we can't expect anyone to actually start at
the bottom and EARN the right to wear marks of
distinction, now, can we???
So the wearing of beret's will lose its meaning.
