The government do not care if we can run a shooting event well or not.
They do not want them run at all.
The only thing achieved by running the Commonwealth games well is the
goodwill of the other competing countries shooting teams, which I would like
to think we have already and not rocking the boat.
After which all concerned will get a condescending pat on the head and
politely told to p**s off.
Wether or not the shooting team make any protest the opportunity to grab a
few headlines (legally) should not be missed.
I do have a suggestion for a team T shirt though
"Gold for winning, Prison for practising"
Yes PA49, Tony Blair is a man of principle.
He was principally interested in getting elected and now he's principally
interested in getting re-elected.
