The relevant word in Charles Clarke's reply is "prestige" and clearly shows
that this government has got it's thinking totally "Arse about tit". And
it's obviously all about their OWN prestige. There is no consideration for
you or me, only about how good THEY appear to be. Well Mrs/Mr Taxpayer, you
now have an admission in black and white that the money that this government
steals from you is being spent on fabricating it's own prestige as well as
paying these peoples wages. And they have the gall to think that they
represent us. They only represent themselves and their prime objective is to
secure their own future. This type of representation makes me feel
physically sick!!
