Typical of the lack of advertising by the NRA that's all
I can say. Our club has used the ETR in three different
locations down at Bisley over the past 7 years.
Jim (RO) is very protective of it as the sensors at the
target end often get damaged and the Swiss replacements
cost a fortune and take ages to replace.
I remember him saying the set-up cost L20,000. Our club
tries to book it 2-3 times a year in the colder months
to save the trip down the butts.
One thing I would like to see on British Eurosport is
the Queen's Prize televised showing a split screen of
the competitors face and finger with the scoring screen
on the other as the shot is fired. God, if they could
show Jocky Wilson throwing bloody darts I'm darn sure
a few BP or rifle PR competitions would be gripping
viewing.
Keep the faith

I did actually talk to Suis Ascor about the cost of these
systems last time I was in Switzerland, a lot of the
prices have come down, certainly they're a lot cheaper
now than when the NRA put the 300m setup in but I wouldn't
say they are cheap!
Steve.
