Firstly I have no criminal convictions and have not actually got to the stage of applying for a licence yet as I want to try out the sport before applying for any weapons.As I am an IT professional and travel around the country/Europe quite a bit the idea of me actually owning a weapon is actually quite impractical as I have no "home base", thus my interest in using a clubs facilities. I spoke to the NRA membership lady who submitted my details to a club in Hemel Hempstead and one called The Old Albanians..this was nearly 3 months ago now.
