I think it would open your eyes to see Rugby players.  Many of them,
especially the Maori's are roughly the same size as your players, but
without the armour.  Even some of the Western teams.  I walked past one
of the French players last year at Murrayfield and he absolutely dwarfed
me; I'm 6'5" and 220 lbs, he also resembled Frankensteins monster as
these guys don't have the benefit of crash helmets, merely relying on
their faces to absorb impact.  Another violent game is Australian rules
football....a cross between soccer, rugby and boxing...unbelievable.
