When I'm feeling rude, I like to suggest that the real reason that Americans
invented Gridiron was that they couldn't beat the English at Rugby (Either
league or union) I suspect that Baseball has the same relationship to
cricket.
But yes,,, Australian Rules is well worth either watching or playing,
and you don't have to be built like a tank to play it, although some find it
helps :-)
